FAQ's

What landscaping services do you offer?

We design and build patios, driveways, retaining walls, garden rooms, boundary walls and fencing, garden steps, raised beds, water features, and drainage solutions. We also carry out hard and soft landscaping as part of new build projects and extensions, ensuring the outside of your home is finished to the same standard as the inside.

What groundworks services do you provide?

Our groundworks service covers site clearance, demolition, excavation, foundations, drainage and soakaways, concrete slabs, and earth moving. We work on both standalone groundworks contracts and as part of larger construction projects.

Can you handle drainage issues as part of a landscaping project?

Yes. Poor drainage is one of the most common issues we address in landscaping projects, whether it’s a waterlogged lawn, a driveway that floods, or inadequate soakaway capacity from a new build. We assess the drainage situation as part of the site survey and design an appropriate solution.

Can you install a new driveway?

Yes. We lay driveways in block paving, resin-bound gravel, tarmac, and natural stone. For driveways with front garden access to the highway, permitted development rules apply depending on the surface material and drainage arrangement. We advise on this as part of the quotation process.

Do I need planning permission for a patio or garden room?

Patios at ground level generally don’t need planning permission. Garden rooms and outbuildings fall under permitted development rules: size, height, and proximity to the boundary all affect whether consent is required. In conservation areas or on listed properties, different rules apply. We check this for you at no cost.

Do you do the landscaping as part of a build, or is it a separate contract?

Both. For clients who are extending or building with us, landscaping is included as part of the full project scope if required. We also take on standalone landscaping contracts for homeowners who aren’t carrying out any other building work.
